On the roll

Well during the last week I was quite active finishing up a lot of stuff. There is no big deal about it but I want to share the progress I made. After all the new/old pictures, I finally added some R Code. I added a completely new menu with R Code I have written on my own. Like for the pictures, I gathered a lot of material over the years and think I like to share it (even nobody cares). First of all, Getting started with your Project in R a Code how I start almost every Project in R. In future, I want to present a folder structure and information how I organize R Projects. Secondly Evolution of a line plot in R and ANOVA with Treatments and Plot just some short Code I wanted to share.

To all this, I working on something to add to the personal part of this webpage, I want to share some personal experiences with software and applications I use as a scientist. And maybe I will start a kind of Publication discussion in the nearer future.

By the way, if you do not come from Twitter to read these lines feel free to follow me there.

Explore the World

The journey continues I added several more pictures from travels and working trips to Vietnam and Australia, South- France. Additionally, you will find some pictures from Germany.

Check it out and see the beauty of biodiversity in different parts of the world. I am already building the next collection just about tracks and signs of animals.

Long time ago

I was in Namibia and explored the Nature of Africa the first time. Now I made a small collection of Pictures. Maybe I will add the blog about this adventure but for now, you can find the pictures here.

A because we want to have something else to learn and explore I added a small R Code for calculating a Linear Model with and making the plot afterward.

As always I hope you enjoy the stuff.

Winter is coming (2)

One year ago, this month, I published “Winter is coming” and after a Facebook post in November 2016 this page having the first big traffic with 56 “people” and 335 klicks. All in all  247 “person” klick more than 1000 times on my Pictures, and R Stuff. Eight different countries in 2016 and ten in 2017 making me happy. It seems to be that everything worked out in the end and this web page is becoming to something. It getting more private in context of the pages and getting more to a personal portfolio, but at the same time, I will continue with the pictures. Currently, I am finalizing the CV and the collection of Pictures, it is really hard to boil down hundreds and hundreds of pictures to just a few representing the adventures, landscapes, and biodiversity I was experiencing.

Like in my previous post mentioned I prepared a list of Pages from Friends. Since then I have had a lot of ideas I will hopefully realize this winter. Hope you enjoy this stuff as much as I am doing it while preparing.

Long way to go

It has been a long time since I posted something here. It is not as easy as I thought when I started this website to post some more stuff in a regular matter. The most difficult thing is not to just upload stuff but present it in a proper way, that I and somebody else can enjoy it. I start now to personalize this site a little bit more so if you would like to get to know more about me it is now possible.

Hey we make progress

Today I present a new site in the Picture section. I think this web page starting to get a frame and a content, that a few people enjoy.

The New page is about pictures of an individual organism of all kingdoms, reflecting the biodiversity everyone can explore by just going out. Sometimes leaving his comfort zone, make a big difference and give nice insights and I think everybody would agree to that.

So I hope you enjoy the new pictures.

R is coming

As you maybe know, I am a biologist (Who am I?). Thus I work with different programs, a program that is amazingly adaptively to any of your requirements is R. I think I have discovered it far too late during my studies and I think every student in the STEM fields should start as early as possible with learning this program and the language. You can do almost everything in this coding language even without knowing it well. And if a topic is not present in R up to now there will be somebody that is currently evolving a package.

If my enthusiastic writing does not convince you just have a look on google and some related web pages Google Search. Or Just start on this page discovering R.

And by the way, I added some new/old pictures here and here (I am still figuring out how to present them well, should I add text? additional information? any ideas contact me)

Guess you find his web page again… me

The last time since I revealed this page to my friends and family a lot of Persons visited this page. Nice to see that somebody maybe enjoy the pictures as I do.

I added pictures in looking into the details

as well as in Landscapes (even small ones)

Please enjoy and give me a feedback if you want?

You may recognize the watermark I ad. I finally made it and you can be sure there will be a few more pictures during the next days. I will try to keep you up to date.
